Middle School Concert band is open to any student who has previous experience playing wind, brass, and percussion instruments. A major objective of Middle School Concert Band is the technical improvement of each student on his/her instrument, enabling the student to perform music of a challenging demanding level. The music that is rehearsed throughout the course of the year will be presented at school and community functions and two school concerts. This is a performance-based course; therefore, participation at all scheduled performances is required. Also group lessons are part of the grade.
